Our Lenten focus for 2025:  “The Love that our God both invites & requires!”

Marking our foreheads with ashes last week somehow brought us together in joy.  A stormy evening kept many away, and those who made it through came with particular concerns.  Even so, in the sharing of ashes we were reminded that we do not journey alone (whether through Lent or through life) and are not redeemed alone.  We are part of a community, integrally connected to God’s people everywhere, including those who came before us and those who will come after us.  

Come experience St. Peter’s in this Lenten season.  Re-discover the hope we find as we try to participate in God’s work of restoring all  people to unity with God and each other in Christ Jesus.
